A Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon with fellowship-training in Hip and Knee Replacement Surgery, Dr. Robert Kramer practices general orthopedics but has particular expertise in Hips, Knees, and Shoulders—specifically Hip and Knee Replacement Surgery; Knee and Shoulder Arthroscopic Surgery; and treatment of work-related injuries.
Dr. Kramer attended Harvard College, Washington University School of Medicine, and completed his residency at the University of Minnesota. He received his fellowship training in Hip and Knee Replacement at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine in Baltimore, MD.
He is on the medical staffs of Missouri Baptist Medical Center (Joint Center of Excellence), Barnes-Jewish Hospital, and the Des Peres Square Surgery Center. Dr. Kramer also sees patients at the Missouri Baptist Outpatient Facility in Sunset Hills, Missouri (S. Lindbergh Road).
Dr. Kramer began his practice in 1989 at Metropolitan Orthopedics, where he served as President until its merger with Orthopedic Associates in January of 2017. He currently serves on the Executive Board. Dr. Kramer is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons, Missouri State Orthopaedic Association, Missouri State Medical Association, St. Louis Metropolitan Medical Society, and St. Louis Orthopaedic Society (Past President).
Dr. Kramer sees patients at our main Orthopedic Associates location in St. Louis and at our satellite location at Sunset Hills Healthcare in St. Louis, Missouri.
