Digital X-Ray

Digital X-ray is used to diagnose conditions by taking pictures of the inside of the body, and it may be requested that you have them done by your orthopedic surgeon. At Orthopedic Associates, we offer a digital X-ray (digital radiology), a type of X-ray imaging where advanced digital X-ray sensors are used in place of traditional photographic film.

If your doctor or surgeon orders an X-ray:

• Please make sure to bring your doctor’s order for your X-ray and your insurance card(s) with you to your X-ray appointment.
• Bring files with you to your appointment if you previously had an X-ray taken of the area in question. If you are unable to bring previous files with you, your appointment may need to be rescheduled.
