Job Description: We are looking for a full time Medical Assistant to support one of our busy upper extremity physicians. We are looking for individuals with a Medical Assistant certification. Duties & Responsibilities:

• Rooming patients
• Ability to communicate medical history and medication lists with patients
• Assisting providers with procedures
• DME and casting application
• Scheduling surgery
• Communicate with vendors for surgery needs
• Pre-certification
• Maintain HIPAA & PHI rules for patient privacy

X-Ray Technologist – Full-Time, Part-Time & PRN 

Job Description: We are a busy independent Orthopedic practice with an immediate opening for an X-ray Technologist. Candidates that have digital X-ray, EMR and C-ARM experience are preferred. Orthopedic Associates is a community dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care. We provide a fun and positive work environment where dedication and compassion come together.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Follow instructions from Physicians regarding which area of the patient’s body needs imaging.
• Talk the patient through the procedure and answer questions to lower their anxiety.
• Correctly position the patient, adjust the imaging equipment to the specified position.
• Prevent unnecessary radiation exposure both to themselves and to the patient.
• Follow correct techniques and procedures such as patient shielding.
• Keep good patient records.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
• Other duties may be assigned.
