As part of the Stay at Home Order St. Louis County is encouraging doctor offices and healthcare facilities to remain open. Orthopedic Associates is complying with this order and continuing to provide you with the superior access and exceptional orthopedic care you have come to expect.
For the safety of our patients and staff, we have updated our processes in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. We are offering virtual evaluation, or Orthopedic Telemedicine, for your non urgent orthopedic problem. Through this, we’re hopeful we can relieve some of the burden from overwhelmed ERs and non-orthopedic urgent care clinics.
Patients with urgent problems can pre-register online from home and wait in their car instead of our waiting room. Patients will also be screened upon entry into the building. Our staff will have your temperature read upon arrival and send anyone home if the temperature is equal to or greater than 100.
We hope with these added precautions and use of technology we can continue to care for your orthopedic needs during these uncertain times.
