Bethanie listens to your concerns. She did a comprehensive assessment and exam. I never felt rushed. She is professional, polite, and friendly. I have been going to Bethanie for the last few years, and I trust her level of care.

From check-in to the X-rays to Andrea, everyone was kind and professional. They made a safe, relaxed environment to evaluate my progress and give clear instructions on how to proceed. Thanks for such a good experience. Twice in one year, I had broken ankles. I broke the right one in October and the left one in August.

I was mistakenly left off the schedule this morning, but the ladies at the front were super nice about it. I was almost in tears as it was my birthday, and I got up early and changed plans for the appointment. I didn’t tell the staff because I didn’t want them to feel bad, but they quickly fit me in, and I was out within two hours, even with x-rays and a cortisone shot. Katie was very attentive and explained my options thoroughly. Everybody I interacted with was very kind and knowledgeable.

I saw Dr. Pitts for a swollen right knee and pain. We tried a cortisone shot and that only lasted for about 6 weeks. They did an MRI and that showed that my knee was full of arthritis, and it was too far gone to do arthroscopic surgery on. I elected for a full knee replacement, and we scheduled it for Christmas Eve of 2020. I was at the surgery center at 4 a.m. and surgery started at 6 a.m. He was finished, and I was in recovery by 8:30 a.m. They had me up and walking by noon, and I was back home by 1:30pm. I started therapy on Monday morning and told my therapist I wanted to be water skiing by July. I pushed myself during therapy and did all my exercises at home. It wasn't an easy road but was well worth it to be rid of the pain, popping, and cracking I had for years. I was up on water skis on July 13th. Dr. Pitts did a great job describing what was going to happen; he and the surgery center staff treated me very well. Hopefully my other knee holds up, and I won’t need another replacement, but if I do, I will come back to Dr. Pitts.

Dr. Collard is one of a kind. He is thorough in his explanations, has an excellent bedside manner, and doesn't make you feel rushed. I have recommended him to multiple family members. We have seen him more than our primary care physicians over the years.
