My Comeback Story: Michael H.

On November 17, 2024, Dr. Collard replaced my right knee. While the recovery was intense and the pain at times was not the best, I couldn't be happier with my progress. I really feel better now than I have for 20 years. High School football took a toll on my knee, tearing my ACL in the first quarter of our first game my Senior year. Many surgeries later, I met Dr. Collard. He couldn't be a nicer, more caring doctor. His bedside manner is impeccable. He listens and you never feel rushed when in his office. I wouldn't consider any other Ortho doctor.

The past year has been great for my left knee as well. It is no longer overcompensating for my right knee, thus it feels much better than it used to. I will let everyone that might read this know, complete healing does take time and effort. I have really good range of motion, but I am still not totally back to full range like in my left knee. I was told it could take up to 2 years. If you are on the fence about having knee replacement surgery, I say jump off and get it done. You will be back on your feet in no time. Especially if you allow Dr. Collard to do it. HE IS THE BEST!!!!
