Meet Our Doctors

Richard Hulsey, MD is a Board-Certified Orthopedic Surgeon with specialization in shoulder surgery, joint replacement, sports medicine, and Worker’s Compensation. Dr. Hulsey has practiced orthopedic surgery since 1992 and repeated Board-Certification in 2001. Board recertification is a program to demonstrate continued expertise as an orthopedic surgeon. Dr. Hulsey earned his Medical Degree from the University of Missouri at Columbia. He completed an Internship in General Surgery and Residency in Orthopedic Surgery at Washington University School of Medicine. He completed a Fellowship in Shoulder Surgery at the Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco. Dr. Hulsey is a Former Instructor of Orthopedic Surgery at Washington University School of Medicine. 

Dr. Hulsey is a member of the St. Louis Orthopedic Society and American Academy of Orthopedic Surgery. He serves as a member of the Resident Education Committee and Quality Assurance and Peer Review Committee at Missouri Baptist Medical Center.
